my school paper thinks bear parade makes "good writing free":

If you click on this sentence, you can read the interview.
i like being interviewed. it's selfish and i don't care that it is selfish. i am a selfish person who sometimes does okay things for other people when i like them. i think that's the way everyone should work. sometimes people should even do things for people they don't like, like when really rich people build a homeless shelter or when the federal government sends you a tax return.
i also updated youngrepublic.org to run on blogger, because it's easier for more people to blog that way. if you are an artist or writer or nice person in the houston/texas area, and you are pretty sure that i like you and we are friends, and you want to blog about arts and other things, email me. i think a few other people are interested in doing it, so you won't be the only asshole feeling like your opinions matter.

yes new colors are good.
I didn't like the orange ones as well. some people's eyes exploded with those colors, i think.
the interview was good---thoughtful and straightforward.
the young republic is good. i am not in Houston. is everyone prejudiced against black people there?
this is what i heard.
you can get rid of the blogger bar if you want, on young republic. you probably already know this.
the premiere of HEROES was awesome.

I did it without the blogger bar, but realized it's nice to use if you want to login to blogger from the blog page.
Inner city Houston is not very racist. It can be, I guess, at times. I don't really see it. I live in a very tolerant and diverse part of town.
Houston seems like any other three million plus city, except with better mexican food and more trucks.
