i created something and i hope people benefit from it somehow:

December 3, 2007

I finished designing Small Pale Humans by Daniel Spinks.

I worked hard on it. Daniel Spinks is a nice person and his story/book deserved my hard work.

If you promote the people you like and try to do it without inserting your own ego, then you are trying to be a good person.

Good people realize that they are not alone, and that their actions and words have consequences beyond their own lives.

No one has to be alone. The world exists and is easy to penetrate.

People can feel sad in public and not be ashamed. It is okay to cry and admit that you have problems.

If you can admit your problems before you ruin the lives of others with them, other people will understand and appreciate you for being honest.

If you can't be honest about your weaknesses in public, then your weaknesses will consume you. You will not see your weaknesses, and they will become integral, unaddressed deficiencies in your life.

I had staph infection in my arm once.

If you leave a gaping open wound untreated, it will create complications much deeper than the wound itself.

I was hit by a linebacker who could bench close to four-hundred pounds, and I was thrown across astroturf on my elbow.

The astroturf was where I contracted staph, my wound got a little puss-filled and I took some antibiotics and it went away. I still have a scar.

My life is not hard.

I stay up at night filled with anger and resentment for things I cannot change.

I love my and care about my family.

I compulsively eat hamburgers when I am worried.

It is impossible to control reality.

Daniel wrote a good book. I'm proud of both of you.

A staph infection. It's just a thing that people get.

yes, and it's easily treatable, usually. not a big deal in my case.

it can kill you if it goes untreated.

i only remember it because of the puss and the scar.

That was a pretty sweet staph analogy.

And speaking of which, I have a small crack in my windshield that could probably use some attention before it goes in two.
